Bersoft Private Mail (BPM) runs under Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 10. It is a 32 bit program that can run on 32 o 64 bit versions of Windows.
BPM uses a PGP like system to provide end-to-end email encryption that encrypts and decrypts email directly between clients. Email remains encrypted on internal relay mail servers or when it is stored on the cloud (Gmail, Outlook, etc.).
Both POP3 and IMAP mailboxes are supported. There is no limit to the number of email accounts that can be created.
See Sending/Receiving Encrypted Messages
All BPM data in your drive, including messages, settings, address book and temporary files will be automatically encrypted.
See Data Protection Measures
The evaluation version will work for up to 30 days. It will add a line to all outcoming messages and only can encrypt messages with a 256 bits RSA keys.
See Limitations in the Evaluation version
BPM is portable, it can run from a Pen Drive or from any USB drive. It can be moved from one computer to other simply by copying its main folder, which stores its configuration and messages.
If the Off-line message cache is cleared (menu Edit -> Purge Off-line Message Cache), when you download messages for a second time from an IMAP account, they will be all marked as read.
