Features that have changed in HyperMaker 3001

PANEL tag

HyperMaker 3001 can handle PDF, SWF, Video and Sound files better than previous versions.

Since HyperMaker 2000, a non-standard tag, named PANEL, was required to play PDF, SWF and Video files inline. The version 3001 makes possible using the fully standard OBJECT tag to play such files, therefore the PANEL tag is supported no more.

If you have references to PDF, SWF or Video files using the PANEL tag in your HTML documents, please replace them with the OBJECT tag in order to compile the files correctly using HyperMaker 3001.

Splash Screen file

The Splash Screen is a file that is optionally shown while the Ebook is starting. It can be a video or image file. Some options for configuring the Splash Screen file have changed, therefore please read this to know how to configure it in HyperMaker 3001.
